Caveman Food

I happened to be at Star Vista one day and I needed to get some lunch. I was feeling a little bloated and pressed for time so  I was looking for something light and I found this quirky little shop called Caveman Food.

Caveman Food strictly follows a paleo diet, which means no gluten, grains, soy, dairy and sugars on top of them more common no monosodium glutamate (MSG), cooking oil and artificial flavourings. A meal consists of protein and 2 side dishes, with the option of topping up $1.60 for a drink.

I wanted to have Salmon Fillet but it was out of stock so I settled for Beef Cubes salad with side dishes of Sweet Potato and Baked Eggs. The salad is miserable-looking with a few pieces of leathery-hard beef cubes on top of a bed of vegetables, dressed with vinaigrette dressing. Sweet Potato is very dry and Baked Eggs is bland.
This is literally what I would imagine our caveman ancestors would have eaten. I love the idea of eating healthy, but I would appreciate if more care could be put into the selection of the ingredients and the time of cooking to attain maximum flavours. I am sorry to say this, but this is a cafe people will try once and never come back again.
