Basement 1 of Plaza Singapura is a food haven of small food shops from many different cuisines from Chippy – British Take Away and Dong Dae Mun which sells popular Korean street snacks to Ji De Chi which sells Chinese desserts.
Today, we will be visiting Dingi Noodle House which specializes in Chinese style noodles.
There are 13 styles and 6 types of noodles to choose from. Their speciality is the One Strand Noodle.
I wanted something light so I ordered Guangdong Wonton Noodles. I love the texture and firmness of their signature One Strand Noodle which is really one long strand of noodles measuring 10 meters but I am unimpressed with the bland broth. This is the Chinese version of pork bone soup, but it is too thin and rather salty.
Dingi Noodle House also offers Longevity Noodle (limited to 10 bowls per day) which is traditionally eaten on one’s birthday.
