I got myself the Large serving of Hill Street Tai Hwa Pork Noodle and I honestly don’t see why everyone loves this bak chor mee so much. Granted, the noodles are cooked just right so they are springy with a good bite and there is a generous amount of sliced pork, pork liver, pork balls and crispy salted fish, served with pungent vinegar but I will expect no less for a $10 bowl of bak chor mee which is really the most expensive bak chor mee I have ever eaten.
My conclusion is that Hill Street Tai Hwa Pork Noodle is nice but it is rather pricey. If you really want to try Michelin Guide endorsed food without burning a hole in your pocket, Hill Street Tai Hwa Pork Noodle is a good place to start.
