Hotpot Culture

I have passed by Hotpot Culture a couple of times before but this steamboat restaurant has never quite caught my attention until the rat infestation incident.

Hotpot Set for 1 is reasonably-priced at $8.80. You can choose chicken/beef/seafood/pork platter. There are 7 soups to choose from: chicken/tom yum/fish/kimchi/vegetarian/herbal/ma la. I opted for beef platter with fish soup. The vegetables are fresh and the meat are hand-cut, judging from the uninformed thickness. The meat are too thick although fresh, the rice is hard and dry and the salad is barely edible.

The low price will probably entice people, but the poor quality of food will keep people from returning. I would have rather spent a little bit more money to have a hotpot that will leave me satisfied.
