LingZhi Restaurant’s Hi-Tea Buffet – Totally Not worth It

If you are a fan of the LingZhi Vegatarian, a restaurant of the Tung Lok Group that specializes in vegetarian dishes, you will know that they have recently come up with Hi-Tea Buffet (only available at the Velocity@Novena Square outlet) and the ecomonomical price has attracted many people from groups of elderlies to the curious like myself.

The buffet is said to offer a total of 27 dishes (you can read the PDF menu here) but I am really not impressed by the overall quality of the food. The Steamed “Siew Mai” was falling apart and Pan-fried Carrot Cake is caked in oil. Black Seame Cream and Almond Cream tastes more like sugar syrups.
The price is indeed very attractive at just $14.80++ (minimum 2 persons) but I personally don’t think it’s a good deal.
