Simply Wrapps (Raffles City) – Delicious and Healthy Salad or Wraps

Simply Wrapps (Raffles City)

I see a long queue outside Simply Wrapps every day during lunch and dinner times and I have always thought Simply Wrapps is “just another salad bar”. I changed my perception of Simply Wrapps after having their salads and wraps.

There are only two options at Simply Wrapps: salad or warp, which takes the chore out of choosing. Salads start at $8.80 and wraps at $8.90 which consists of romaine or red and white cabbage with 6 toppings. You can also opt to upgrade your salad or wrap base to baby spinach or mesclun for an additional $1.50. There are 5 choices of wraps with differing calories: plain (280 calories), wholemeal (190 calories), tomato basil (270 calories), lemon grass (260 calories) and spinach (260 calories).

If you looking for something a little creamier, Martian’s Delight [$10.50 for Salad; $10.90 for Wrap] is a good choice. It’s my favourite so far, the roasted mango chicken gives the wrap a slight sweetness that goes really well with the wasabi mayo dressing.

For those of you who like something a little spicier, do give Taj Mahal [$10.50 for Salad; $10.90 for Wrap] a try. The tandoori chicken lends a good fiery kick to the mixture and the mint yoghurt dressing will remind you of India.

For those who prefer seafood, you may like Tuna Lover [$11.50 for Salad; $11.90 for Wrap]. The seared tuna will satisfy your seafood craving while the aromatic Japanese roasted sesame dressing gives the wrap a nutty flavour.

Singapore Mixed Seafood [$11.50 for Salad; $11.90 for Wrap] is a little disappointing. I was really excited to try the chilli crab dressing but it tastes suspiciously like thousand island dressing.
