At Three Little Pigs, it’s all about pigs (pork). Their signature pork chops are hand pounded and marinated in their special blend of spices.
I was recommended this Logan Logan drink but it was slightly disappointing. I was expecting a speciality drink, but what I got was a cup of longan syrup with ice cubes and a few pieces of dried longan. It’s not worth the price.
Fish & Bacon Frits is surprisingly tasty. The fresh fish fillet is wrapped with streaks of bacon, coated with batter and deep-fried till a crispy golden-brown. Paired with a tangy mango sauce, the softness of the fish fillet and the crispiness of the crispy skin creates an interesting contrast in texture while the sweetness of the mango sauce and saltiness from the bacon creates a wonderful contrast of flavour. This is definitely one of the most creative and tasty side dishes I have had in a while.
No meal is complete at Three Little Pigs Eatery without trying their signature pork chop. You can opt to have your pork chop in a variety of ways, there is Signature Pork Chop on Rice for us Asian who cannot live without rice, Signature Pork Chop Macaroni Soup for those who want something soupy and light, Signature Pork Chop Noodles for those who want something slurp and Signature Pork Chop Ciabatta for those who want something healthy. I was feeling really hungry so I went with the most filling option of Signature Pork Chop on Rice. The pork chop is very well-marinated so there is no gamey taste. The meal comes with rice and a sunny side up egg, but I don’t really like the gom jap leek.
The other two desserts, Thai Tea Molten Cake and Warm Orh Nee (Yam Paste) don’t sound as intriguing as the signature dessert Piggy’s Milk Pudding. It is creamy and soft, it tastes so much like the French dessert panna cotta that I would never have guessed it is actually coconut meringue. Served with cookie crumbles spoon-shaped cookie, it is a delightful dessert that will have you craving for more.
Besides their signature pork chops, Three Little Pigs Eatery also serves other non-pork dishes such as Laksa Linguine and Casserole of Roasted Farm Chicken for those of us who are not a fan of pork.
