Toss & Turn by Cedele – New Salad Shop at Paragon Basement

I have been tasked by my colleague to try out the new salad shop called Toss & Turn.

Toss & Turn - Restaurant Front

Created by the people behind Cedele, Toss & Turn serves salads, sandwiches, gourmet thins and wraps, soups, smoothie bowls and smoothie drinks.

Toss & Turn - Menu

The brightly-lit shop has a long white communal table in the middle and low tables for groups. Two long counter-top tables frames the shops and also acts as eating areas.

Toss & Turn - Hot Proteins

Toss & Turn - Toppings

You can design your own cold/warm salad bowl. For S$11, the cold salad bowl comes with 1 base, 2 cold proteins, 4 toppings and 1 dressing. The warm salad bowl comes with 1 base, 1 warm protein, 4 toppings and 1 dressing for the same price. Extra base/protein costs S$1, every extra topping is S$1 each while premium toppings cost an extra S$1.

Ocean Catch

If you are lazy to create your own salad bowl, you can also order one of their signature bowls. Vegetarians can go for Sprinting Buddha [S$13] or Cauli-Detox [S$14] while those on keto diet will like Keto Friendly [S$13]. The other potions are Tropikale [S$13], Ocean Catch [S$16] and Protein Booster [S$12.50].

If you are looking to something simple, try one of their gourmet thins or gourmet wraps. I especially like the Uplifting Mango Roasted Chicken [$10.80]. All the wraps and things are made upon order. The sweetness of the mango honey dressing goes really well with the roasted chicken.

If you have the money and stomach to spare, you should definitely try their soups. All their soups are made from scratch and naturally thickened with vegetables. The soups change everyday,  so check what they have on the day. I have tried the Wild Mushroom and Chicken Spinach Gojiberry. They are not as thick but taste authentic. If you buy the soups on themselves, they are priced at S$6 for small and S$8.80 for large but if you add a small soup to your meal, it’s only S$3.

Toss & Turn - Supercharged Acai

All smoothie bowls and smoothie drinks are naturally sweetened with dates and fruits. I had the Supercharged Açaí [S$9.50] which is acai topped with mixed berries, beetroot and almond flakes.

Toss & Turn - Retail

There is even a small retail section to the right of the ordering counter where you can get organic juices, nuts, jams, and chips.

The things at Toss & Turn are a little on the expensive side, but the portions are pretty big and the food is really tasty.

Addresses, telephone hours and opening hours of all 3 Toss & Turn outlets in Singapore and 1 outlet in Hong Kong can be found here
