Everything With Fries (Bugis Junction)

Everything With Fries started off in 2010 with its first outlet in Holland Village, delighting patrons with freshly-baked breads, fresh meats and handmade sauces. Its dedication to serving delicious foods paid of and they have opened up two more outlets.

Situated right besides the cinema on the 4th floor of Bugis Junction, it it impossible to miss Everything With Fries (EWF for short). I have passed it on numerous occasions but I have never had the chance to stop and try their food, until today.

 Opt for a table in front of the windows where the natural lighting makes it perfect for taking photographs and you get a panorama view of the fountain below. 

This outlet does not seem to have the speciality dish One Egg Soup.

I saw this poster when I was ordering so I topped up $1 to change my fries to truffle fries. 

 

You can get all your cutleries and condiments at this cupboard. 

This burger is named Har Jeong Kai Burger because “har jeong” means prawn paste and “kai” means chicken in Cantonese. Eating this Har Jeong Kai Burger is messy business. The pillowy bun is not able to hold the crispy chicken cutlet, fresh lettuce, sliced tomato and creamy mayonnaise sauce together so be prepared to have your burger fall apart. The chicken cutlet is marinated in prawn paste before coating it in batter and deep fried till a beautiful golden colour. 

Har Jeong Kai Wings is like the premium version of the prawn paste chicken I used to love as a kid. The chicken wings are marinated in prawn paste and deep fried, giving you a nice prawn taste that is not overpowering. If the wings in the spicy sauce provided if you want something spicy, but I must warn you that sauce is very spicy. 

I asked for a recommendation for desert and I was told that the most popular items are Nutella Crepe and The Nutella Tart. I chose Nutella Crepe because I have not gotten over my crepe craze yet. Just look at the amount of melted Nutella that is loaded on the crepe, I won’t be surprised if I am told I am eating one small jar of Nutella in one serving. This is definitely sugar and Nutella overdose, but it is so sinfully gorgeous you will want to lick the plate clean. 

Besides Nutella Crepe and The Nutella Tart, there are other what they call “Sexy Desserts” such as Chilled Panda Soufflé, Gula Melaka Cake and Lemon Yoghurt Cake. 

Everything With Fries is the perfect place to have a delicious burger before or after a movie. If you are up for something a little more leisurely, it is the ideal place for people watching.
