Kim’s Family Korean Restaurant is just opposite my house and I have been wanting to try their food ever since I spied it a few months ago, but I have only managed to do so today.
Every meal comes with these 10 Korean side dishes. They look good, don’t they? I don’t know how authentic they are since I have not have not had the chance to visit Korea yet, but they taste quite good to me. These should keep you occupied while your main course is being cooked.
I chose to have the Bibigo Set (there is a choice of beef or chicken, I chose beef) . Thick pieces of beef are cooked in rich and savoury sauce. These will taste so good with some hot steamy rice.
The Bibigo Set comes with Cold Noodles (there is a choice of spicy and non-spicy, I chose non-spicy). Nothing beats having a bowl of Cold Noodles on a hot and humid day like today. The noodle is buckwheat noodles. In addition to the usual cucumber slices, there are pear slices which creates an interesting contrast to the slightly sour soup. It’s simple, but it tastes good.
Besides staple foods such as bibimbap and doenjang jjigae, this restaurant also offers gogigui (Korean barbecue) and many other delicious snacks.
With a comprehensive menu and reasonable prices, this shall be the place to satisfy my cravings for Korean food.
