My financial planner, who is staying at Telok Blangah area, told me about this sweet little cafe that has sprung up recently and I went to check it out.
Here I am at The Marshmallow Tree. It is easily accessible with bus stop and Telok Blangah MRT station just 5 minutes away.
The moment you enter the cafe, you will see the wooden swing seats. It will be so nice to read a book while seated there, or enjoy some quality time with a loved one.
Bigger groups can seat here, with comfortable seats all around, everyone can enjoy a good time.
I like the lamp at the corner. It lends a little old world charm to the place.
The lights above the communal table gives off a soft glow, making the whole place a cozy feel.
The communal table is made of wood and has a very pretty pattern.
All the food items have very cute names.
All coffees and hot chocolate drinks come with a roasted marshmallow on a stick. The roasted marshmallow is slightly browned on the outside and melted goodness on the inside. It perfectly compliments my Hot Chocolate.
Sweet Piglet is a bacon, banana and peanut butter toast. The bacon is a little overwhelmed by the peanut butter and bananas, but it is still a delicious little snack.
Mango Mousse is sweet and soft with bits of mango, something is just not quite right with the sponge cake, it tastes rather artificial.
The Marshmallow Tree is a quiet little place nestled in a quiet neighbourhood. It is ideal of wasting an afternoon away with a good book and a good cup of coffee.
