Bibogo is launched by CJ, Korea’s number one food company, in 2011. Bibigo gets its name from a mash-up of Korean bi-bi-da (“to mix”) and English “to-go”. Bibigo believes in serving Healthy Korean food Fresh from the Kitchen (this is my interpretation of the restaurant’s core values. With restaurants in United Kingdom, United States, Singapore, China and Indonesia, Bibigo’s mission is to introduce the delicious and nutritious Korean food culture to the rest of the world.
Kimchi Platter gives you an assortment of 3 kimchi. I was given kkakdugi (cubed daikon kimchi), baechu kimchi (napa cabbage kimchi) and uong kimchi (burdock root kimchi). These three are just a few of the more popular kimchis among over 200 varieties available.
Sweet & Spicy Fried Rice Cake, a traditional Korean snack that is loved by people all over the world, is made by tossing rice cake and yam in sweet and spicy Kohot sauce. Bibigo tweaked the recipe slightly by frying the rice cake and yam, making the rice cake and yam extremely chewy. It becomes rather leathery when it turns cold, so do start on it the moment it arrives at the table.
Bibimbap is a traditional Korean dish which is made mixing rice with vegetables and a topping and a sauce. You can customise the rice, topping and sauce with this chart below.
