Eat at Seven: Enbu

Eat at Seven at level 3 of Suntec City Mall features 7 of Japan’s best and trending specialist concept restaurants is brought into Singapore by Global Retail Partners, a joint venture by ANA Trading, Komars Group and local restaurateur Mr Andrew Tan who owns Tomo F&B Group.

Japanese cuisine is one of my favourite cuisines, so I am going to dedicate the whole of December to the review of these 7 restaurants.

Next, we are going to Enbu, the restaurant at the back with a beautiful view of the Suntec City Sky Garden which means “Dance of Flame”.
Enbu

Enbu is known for its warayaki izakaya, a traditional cooking method that has its roots in Shikoku, Kochi prefecture.
Enbu
Enbu uses premium Hokkaido rice in all of its dishes.

Enbu
Enbu is known for its warayaki izakaya but there is an ongoing lunch promotion that features rice bowls such as this Mixed Diced Sashimi on Rice with Original Soya Sauce or Yuzu Pepper Sauce (it is essentially kaisendon). The portion is rather small but the sashimi is very fresh. The soya sauce is a little salty so do watch out. Another excellent option around the area is Teppei Syokudo’s Kaisendon.
The prices are a little steep and the portions are a little small, but the quality’s definitely there, so it is still worth a try.
