Ever since greendot set up its outlet at Westgate, it has been pack with people every single day, and even my mother has been singing its praises. I know that greendot is a vegetarian restaurant but I don’t see what’s so special about it that so many people love it so much, and I am about to find out why now.
Greendot’s serves customizable bentos, signature rice bowls, noodles, salads and mushroom pots.
I tried greendot’s Signature Rendang Mushroom Bowl where fragrant white rice is topped with gong bao mushroom, broccoli, carrot and cucumber strips, lettuce and seaweed flakes. The flavours are stepped up with the addition of fragrant rending sauce that has just enough spiciness to kickstart the meal.
Singaporeans are becoming more and more health-conscious and greendot is a great place to have a vegetarian meal that is not only wholesome but delicious to boot too.
Addresses, telephone numbers and opening hours of all 6 greendot outlets can be found here.
