As compared to ala carte steamboat like Hai Di Lao, I prefer buffet-style steamboat where I can eat all I want for a single price. I did a search online and found Hao Lai Wu Steamboat BBQ.
Hao Lai Wu Steamboat BBQ has two outlets – one in bustling Chinatown and the other at Burlington Square.
The Burlington Square outlet has a special costume wardrobe where you can have steamboat dressed as a Mongolian princess or an elegant court lady.
There are some cooked food to munch on as your steamboat is cooking, but the fried buns and squid rings are not very healthy.
There are various condiments to compliment your hotpot.
The ingredients are fresh with a good variety of meats, seafood and vegetables to choose from.
