It has been quite a while since I last had Korean jjajangmyeon and tangsuyuk and I have been craving for it lately. It just so happens that I was in Novena area and I discovered a Korean restaurant called Mukjja that specializes in jjajangmyeon and tangsuyuk.
Location
Mukjja is located in Novena Regency.
After crossing the overhead bridge outside Royal Square Novena, walk to the right and walk pass Novena Gardens. Mukjja is just behind the bus stop.
The Food
Mukjja specializes in Korean-Chinese cuisine which jjajangmyeon and tangsuyuk fall under.
They even have sweet and sour pork sets for 2-3 people to cater to the people who work nearby.
Their Noodle with Black Bean Sauce 炸酱面 [S$10.80] is thick and sweet just the way I like it. The black sauce evenly coats each strand of the thick and chewy noodles.
The fried pork pieces are wonderfully crispy but I find the sauce of Sweet and Sour Pork 糖醋肉 [Small S$24, Large S$43] a little too sour for my liking.
Besides jjajangmyeon and tangsuyuk, Mukjja also has many other stir-fried Korean-Chinese dishes, noodles and rice dishes to offer.
