I have not had the chance to try Vietnamese food, but I have read so much about Vietnamese food in various media and they make it sound so utterly delicious, it’s almost a shame not to try this interesting cuisine.
I thought I would venture into this unknown cuisine by starting with a reputable restaurant that has made a name for itself so that I can be ensured of a good experience.

I have read that the signature dish of Vietnamese cuisine is Pho Beef Noodle. Since this is my first attempt at Vietnamese cuisine, I thought I would have the best of the lot, so I ordered Pho Beef Combination.
As the name suggests, Pho Beef Combination is a mix of beef parts -beef ball, beef tendon, beef brisket, beef slices, beef big intestine and small intestine. Everything is well-prepared and cooked till just right. However, the best is still the broth. It is very clear, but the richness and depth will leave you wanting more. Paired with glass noodles, this is a bowl of noodles that will fill you with warmth.
Vietnamese cup noodles, Vietnamese sauces and mugs can be purchased here. I have been told that the Vietnamese cup noodles are one of a kind.
I have definitely made the right decision by beginning my exploration of the Vietnamese cuisine with NamNam Noodle Bar. The friendly staff and delicious food has left a deep impression in me and I would be more than happy to explore the items on the menu. My colleague highly recommends the fried banana fritters, I think I shall try that the next time I am here.
