Tsukiji Men Don Tei – Good Japanese Fast Food Restaurant

Anyone who has been to Westgate knows that the basement one and two of Westgate is a gigantic food paradise that has everything from food court Food Republic to Chinese restaurant Old Street Bak Kut Teh to fast food Long John Silver and Texas Chicken. 

Let me show you a small Japanese restaurant located at basement two that sells delicious Japanese rice bowls and noodles called Tsukiji Men Don Tei.

There are two menus, Noodle and Rice Bowl. This is the Rice Bowl menu, where you can find the classics such as Katsu Don and Una Don. If you feel like giving yourself a treat and you are a sashimi lover, go for the premium Kaisen Bara Chirashi which looks absolutely drool-worthy.

I was craving for something hot so I went for Ebi Tama Don. Fluffy Japanese rice is topped with huge prawns cooked with eggs and a flavorful sweet and salty broth. The prawns are plump and juicy and taste great with the eggs and broth. 

Tsukiji Men Don Tei is a self-service (No Service Charge) Japanese fast food restaurant that serves meals with generous portions and reasonable prices, making this a decent place that I will visit whenever I am in the area.
