Cafe-Hopping: The Bravery

Mariem and I had a whale of a time doing cafe-hopping last year. Toady, we embark on our first cafe-hopping adventure of 2015.
First stop, The Bravery.
Today, I shall be wearing this cat-themed cropped top kindly sponsored by Tagged With Love.

Situated directly opposite the old Jalan Besar Stadium and amidst old shop houses, The Bravery looks more like a warehouse than a cafe. With no shop sign and a door that is almost non-existent, it is easy to miss this quiet little cafe.
The interior is spaciously-designed with a communal table in the middle of the cafe.
Free-flow water can be obtained from the glass dispensary.

The full menu can be found here. It’s a small menu, it’s a small cafe after all.
Hot Chocolate and Iced Chocolate are chocolatey and sprinkled with chocolate powder, the perfect drink for a hot afternoon.

Pancakes Stack is delicious no matter which way you eat it, slice by slice or by the stack. The pancakes are a little too floury but the bananas, ricotta cheese, honey and crushed pistachio rectifies the situation.
Eggs On Toast sounds normal, but not when it is served on buttered multigrain bread that is toasted till a deep golden colour. Avocado (half), sausage (lamb/beef), smoked salmon and turkey bacon can be added for a small fee.

The Bravery serves some pretty decent food and with staff that are fun and provide good service, it is definitely a place worth exploring if you are in the Lavender area. It is halal-certified, Muslim friend can eat with a peace of mind.
