I love to eat hotpot or steamboat, as you can see from all the steamboat restaurants I have been to. One of my favourite hotpot restaurant is Guo Fu Hotpot Steamboat 国府珍锅. I wrote about my last visit to Guo Fu Hotpot Steamboat in November 2016.
The hotpot steamboat buffet is affordable, at S$27.90++ for lunch and S$29.90++ (Monday – Thursday, Sunday and Public Holidays) and S$31.90 (Friday – Saturday, eve of Public Holiday for dinner.
This is Guo Fu Hotpot Steamboat’s hotpot buffet menu. There are more than 50 items on the menu (64 to be exact) that you can order as many times as you want. All ingredients are prepared upon order which guarantees freshness.
Guo Fu is famous for its fat cow 肥牛, which is called Sliced Special Beef. Look at that beautiful red colour and marbling. The beef slices are so thin that you only need to cook them for a minute, any longer and the beef becomes tough.
Guo Fu has added Xiao Long Bao and Steamed Dumpling into its buffet menu. Yes, that means free-flow xiao long bao! They are even better than Din Tai Fung’s xiao long bao, in my opinion.
