So Pho (JEM) – Casual Vietnamese Restaurant in JEM

Ever since my first introduction to the Vietnamese cuisine at NamNam Noodle Bar, Vietmamese cuisine has stolen a place in my heart. I love theit use of fresh seasonal ingredients to create dishes that are clean and nutritious.
I discovered So Pho on a recent trip to JEM.
The restaurant looks so classy and well-decorated that I was a little intimidated but the warm hospitality of the staff soon put me at ease.
Pho, a Vietnamese noodle soup, is one of the most well-known dish of the Vietnamese cuisine, served with either beef of chicken. Pho Bo – Bo Vien is the beef version with sliced beef and beef balls. The broth is cooked with cinnamon, star anise, ginger and various spices, making the soup not only tasty but nutritious too. If you prefer chicken, there is Pho Ga.
I have always preferred rice rolls to the fried spring rolls because I find the latter too oily. This is Goi Cuon (Summer Rolls) – With Prawns & Lemongrass Chicken. It is light and refreshing with a very pungent lemongrass taste which may put some people off. There is also With Grilled Beef and Mango for the meat-lovers and With Tofu for the vegetarians.
With an extensive menu that features everything from pho and bun (a traditional  Vietnamese vermicelli style noodle), get a taste of authentic Vietnamese cuisine at So Pho.
